2,000 Reasons Why ‘Emma OhMaGod’s Chris Brown And Pasuma In Ojuelegba’ Sucks

1

Okay, seriously, one of the enduring reasons why Emma OhMaGod is still prevailing in the entertainment industry is because he picks up from where entertainers leave off… most times; turning their morally reprehensible songs to …well, some intellectual droll of his own… to us all. Regardless, I love his videos, e no easy. He has a special way of  saying, “I love to do it and I do it very well.” …fervid huhn! Well, i said “I” not “WE.” Don’t know what a bunch of guys is doing in his recent video, he wants to start overdoing it o. This is what most of my friends and me hate about this video…
Wait!, you might want to watch it again!

Pasuma is satsuma: Especially while he was on the phone with Chris Brown (Emma OhMaGod, whose “brownness” was only on his hair). The guy was just eying the camera while he was on the phone… WTF! who direct this one? Who send am, na only him waka come? He wasn’t even acting like paso (at all). Pasuma dey form fresh boy. Maybe it was his first time on camera. He had the words without the voice nor energy nor…. lets just rest the guy! Did he later sing in the video? nope!

Scenery: So, Chris Brown performed in broad daylight, for naija… okay na! would have been better if it was later than that (Even if na 2:00am: We don’t want to know). Did anyone see Chris Brown’s “Loyal” (Loya, according to Emma OhMaGod) video? This stupid internet connection granted me access to watch it and it wasn’t even in the daytime (watched the beginning several times jawe). For once, we felt like watching his skits from the Cool Fm studio.

In conclusion: Emma OhMaGod is better off on his own but there were some folks who made the video; the extras. The short guy killed it (He was the reason why i finished the video). Emma OhMaGod is still the one we all looked at and listened to…. because he is better off on his own, his instagram profile tells it all. He could prove me wrong tho! you never know what the creative guy could do next, Lil wayne ft. Osupa in Ojota? :p

“Thats just the way it is. Some things will never change. That’s just the way it is. But don’t you believe them.”
                        ― Malorie Blackman

The nation has just lost one of its clangorously useful source of information. Baba, we’ll (not) miss you, Gidi!!!
From L-R: Lekksite and Me! recently
The last time i met Lekksite was [@lekksite] was on Sunday the 28th of September 2014. We took a picture after church service and reminisced regarding his birthday which was supposed to come up on October 3rd. In our talks, he had talked about how he plans to lavish his entire savings on his upcoming birthday, buy me “something” and share his birthday rice. (He was reluctant on that one.. i tell you)
Just this morning o, i wore my favorite shirt, boarded a bus to Ajegunle (with my last card o…imagine!) . The conductor was just annoying me with a loop  phonation: “there is no change o, why you give me one thousand, where you dey go?… there is no change o” Hia, my last card. Scared, i called Lekksite’s number but it was switched off. When i finally made it to his father’s mansion, he was just sitting on the floor, looking dejected and dreary. It was a neighbor that later explained what happened.
On the eve of his birthday, Lekksite was blogging when he saw a message from Google [Adsense] stating that they have detected an invalid click activity. Immediately o, he stood up, picked his 82k laptop and smashed it. As if that was not going to be all, the same mail reached his 38k blackberry, he read it and threw the phone at his dad’s 42k flat screen. It was then his brother silenced him with slaps. He is still quiet since then and will definitely not be online for months… or years (In plural). As for me, getting home from Ajegunle is another thing, i’ll just trek it….. I’m only having 250 here…
Exclaimer! ::: This is an anxiolytic post and i am just using this opportunity to wish my half-brother a happy birthday! I love you bro!!! Hbd to Lekksite! #Ceo, Gidi360.com …. God make you bigger!!!

5 Ways To Turn Your Imaginations Into A Book

2
Image Credits: The National Emerging Writer Program

I’m often reminded that most ideas that had struck me earlier; that I developed into movie scripts (some to stories) didn’t happen in bed or while thinking about “what to write about.” My first movie script was a job, in fact, the characters were created and I built a story around them. With truth, most of the ideas to my works struck me in the bathroom while a few others happened in the kitchen. Sometimes when I’m walking down a quiet road that
requires me to concentrate, I’m often fronted with all my characters and plots all swimming in my head, waiting for me to recount their existence on paper.
When faced with such imaginations waiting to be literalised, the first thing to do is to:

Draft It: No matter how short the imagination may be, it could be your next big story. Tell it in short or long, describe the characters and their deeds, build a city of your own and add a church bell at its entrance. It’s all up to you. Just make sure you put it down somewhere and don’t look down on it.

Start At An Earliest Point: The thought of putting down what you have in your head is often fiddled by the urge to draft a perfect story. Remember, it’s just a draft, a fresh unseen story. You have nothing to prove to me or anyone. Just start with what you have in your head at that point in time; pen it down on a paper or word processor. Don’t worry about the rest, they will build up from where you began or left off.

Recommended: 5 Things You Shouldn’t Do To A Draft As A Writer

Re-write it: This is the part most young writers skip. A draft should not (and must not) be thrown away just because you don’t know the end of the story or just because it’s short or messy. At this stage, you’ll need to go over your draft and polish it. Kill some irrelevant characters and words, especially the ones with –ly (in dialogue attribution) which I’d explain in a later article. You could add and subtract from your story while you’re re-writing it. That is one quality of a good story (if you ask me) but don’t subtract too much, you might turn it into a bland little drama.

The END?: Don’t ever stop writing because you want to “think” about the end of the story. You could pause along the way to take a break or think about the end IF you are almost there. On a second, reasonable thought, don’t think about the end. You might end up stopping there just because you feel it’s long or because OLIVER TWIST FOUND A NEW HOME, he still has an unresolved past.

Don’t Lose Steam: This is the crucial thing in all the journey of writing. I mean, why start a story you can’t (or won’t) finish?. It’s not only important that you continue writing, it’s necessary that you don’t give up on those wonderful characters you’ve created. Don’t throw your imagination into an abyss or plant the idea into someone else’s mind. It’s your story; tell it…your way.

In conclusion, your imagination might not carry the whole story in the first place. So, you would do yourself a great deed to apply the above mentioned points on your journey to a terrific story. Kindly leave a comment or hit the share buttons, if you feel this article is helpful. Thank you

“:Screenwriting is the most prized of all the cinematic arts. Actually, it isn’t, but it should be.” – Hugh Laurie

For quite some time now – for me – writing for the screen has been splendid…Awesome! I could describe and define screenwriting perfectly if it doesn’t seem new to me whenever i open up my screenwriting software. It all seems raw to me – maybe it’s because there are always new cool characters and… Monsters.

Okay, here, i’m going to share Five awesome websites you could get movie scripts for free, especially for those who wants to learn the art or read the dialogues of their favorite movies (like lyrics to music). Professional screenwriters could tap into it, as it is a window to resources.
Please NOTE that the websites listed below are for Educational Purposes only. Hence, the scripts downloaded or copied from these sites cannot and should not be transferred or go through any form of production. Go ahead old sport

In writing fiction, the more fantastic the tale, the plainer the prose should be. Don’t ask your readers to admire your words when you want them to believe your story. – Ben Bova

SimplyScripts
Simply Scripts is one of the largest database of hundreds of downloadable scripts, movie scripts, screenplays, and transcripts of current, classic and maybe a few soon-to-be-released movies, television, anime, unproduced and radio shows. There’s more, you could find Unproduced Scripts, Radio Scripts, Anime Scripts, Oscar Scripts, Treatments, Plays, Musicals, Non English Scripts, A Discussion Board, Movie Reviews, Unproduced Script of the Day and A Store. The store – called Simply Scripts screenwriting store – is powered by Amazon.com where you could purchase Screenplays and Screenwriting Software.

“People don’t really want original stories. They want different versions of the same story. This is called meta-narrative.” ― Chester Elijah Branch

DailyScript
Yes Amigo, it’s called Daily Script because a movie script is featured daily. There is something solid about daily scripts. Apart from Movie and Tv scripts, it has a “Links” section.
Daily Scripts has a collection of movie scripts and screenplays to serve as a resource for writers and actors and those who simply enjoy reading movie scripts. The movie scripts are presented in proper script format (for the most part) and where possible, multiple drafts are presented. The LINKS section has alot of other resources (links) to other similar websites. Lots of them.

I’ve always been a writer, I’ve always been a storyteller, but I never thought about screenwriting. — Diablo Cody

Packed with transcribed dialogues, quiz, contests and a section for screenwriters, Drew’s Script-O-Rama is one of the oldest (if not the oldest) archive for movie scripts. He’s had the site up since 1995, when Val Kilmer was still Batman (That should be before Will Smith’s Independence day in ’96). Mirthfully, the site has a jazzed up (yet java-free) version (best viewed at 1024×768, but works at lower screen resolutions too.) and a “normal” Drew’s Script-O-Rama at a corner

“For me, screenwriting is all about setting characters in motion and as a writer just chasing them. They should tell you what they’ll do in any scene you put them in.”
 — Justin Zackham

The Internet Movie Script Database (IMSDB)
IMSDB has the biggest collection of movie scripts available anywhere on the web and it’s one of the most updated with movie scripts. While i was going through the site, i saw alot of recent movies’ scripts (The wolf of wall street by Written by Terence Winter, Jordan Belfort and John Ridley’s 12 years a slave ). Sadly, as at the time of this review, most scripts in IMSDB are in .html formats, so, you could read them but not download them. According to the site’s homepage, All of Imsdb scripts are in HTML format so you can read them right in your web browser. You won’t need any additional software.

“There are three primal urges in human beings: food, sex, and rewriting some else’s play.”
Romulus Linney, Six Plays

WeeklyScript
I take pleasure in weeklyscript.com because they offer both television and radio scripts in .TXT Formats. Now, this is very nifty for mobile devices without PDF readers. If you want, you could copy the entire text file into your Notepad and read them later.

There you have it Mr. Idealist. There are tons of websites that offer scripts out there but by the time you checkout these High-Five, you would have gotten all you need (hopefully). Besides, most of these sites have a “LINKS” section where you would find tons of other websites for your favourite genres.

The Truth About Fear

1

If you’ve watched Will Smith’s “After Earth”, you’ll see the way he talked about fear, calling it “self-imposed” which means you created it, you could destroy it.

Most people don’t work on their dreams because of fear. The fear that they won’t succeed or what people will say. John C. Maxwell in his book (Talent is not enough) said “A woman with a will to win have her naysayers and a man on a mission will have his critics”. Fear is why most people fall, some even make their fear more powerful than they are, more powerful than their dreams. Napoleon Hill said “people refuse to take chances in business, be

cause they fear the criticism which may follow if they fail”.

That’s why you’ll never have what you want to have or be who you want to be. I used to say “I’m not bold enough”, and some people will say “I’m too small” not because we are but because we’re afraid. I worked on my fears with the help of my friends and prayers. Everything you imagine, you bring into reality, and fear is not an exception. It’s not real, Its False Evidence Appearing Real (Fear)

The best way to overcome fear is to keep doing what you do. I was in a vigil week’s back, just before a teacher gave his speech, he said “I used to be scared and shaky whenever I’m called to sing or call a prayer point, but as time passed, I could do it over time.”Be it faith in God, confidence, or hard work, the only way to master , increase and rise in it is too keep doing it with a positive belief in yourself, just like body building”.

When you’re scared, remember that time stops for no one. Why don’t you start now? I tell people “Your yesterday’s tomorrow is today and today is almost coming to an end.” Fear slows us down, it makes us weak. You’re made unique, accept yourself as you see yourself beyond your fears not as a victim. If you lost, try again; keep trying because success is born through fears, get tired of losing, behind every fear is that person you want to be. Its “self-imposed” which means you created it, you could destroy it.

Who do you want to be? Who do you see yourself as?

Once you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

A Fact About Patience

Patience

According to an Assembled General Belief, Patience is a good-natured tolerance of delay or incompetence. Everyone is established and granted access to it but not everyone accesses it. When we talk about patience, what comes to most people’s mind is Suffering and Waiting and we don’t like to wait. Call it long-suffering or Endurance, Truth is “You can’t have patience without waiting”.

This particular topic struck me in church on a Sunday service and as I was making a draft on it, being a surefooted talkative, I disclosed the word to my Mentor who was sitting beside me. He gave me a quote on it saying “Patience is not really waiting; it’s what you do while you’re waiting”. I just opened my mouth in a stupefied manner. The Bible accounts for many individuals that were Patient and they reaped the wait. Paul waited, Moses was patient; he led over two million people through the desert, some were ungrateful while some were unfaithful but he was patient, Job is a practical example of Patience, through thick and thin, he didn’t give up, he didn’t wait in bed, he talked to God and God never lets anyone down (Isaiah 40:31). He was abandoned by his friends and wife and still in Job 13:15 he said “Though he slay me, yet I will trust in him. Even so, I will defend my own ways before him”, that was what the quote was all about “Patience is not really waiting; it’s what you do while you’re waiting”. Job waited with attitude. You could be waiting in sin, you could be waiting is sorrow, whatever you choose to put yourself into while waiting influences your reward when the wait is over.

I saw a local movie a few weeks back where a woman’s daughter was kidnapped, the villagers had accused her of her daughter’s disappearance and threatened to pronounce a death sentence on her if the missing girl wasn’t found at a given period, she had waited for days, weeks and months but her only daughter didn’t show up. On a fine afternoon, the villagers made for her home, she had thought they were coming to kill her; she quickly made for the knife and drove it into her stomach. By the time the villagers came closer to her home, they began to sing songs of Joy, the Missing daughter had been found. It was too late. You will not experience such in Jesus Name. You don’t just wait, you wait with Attitude. Patience is deciding something is worth the wait, Patience and a good attitude goes hand in hand.

The Bible talked about patience several times, in fact it’s one of the fruit of the spirit according to Gal. 5:22 ; is it patience in Anger (James 1: 19-20), In doing Good (Gal. 6:9),In the coming of Christ (James 5:7-8),Apostle Paul urged us to be patient in (Eph. 4:1-2),  and the book of psalms pressed on it a lot of times (Psalm 27:14, 33:20, 37:7, 37:34, 38:15). Don’t give up on God, waiting in faith and Prayers; he said “FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, PLANS OF PEACE AND NOT OF EVIL TO HARM YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE”-Jer. 29:11

Here’s my Tip: If you’re tired of waiting on something, think of waiting times as Waiting on God “IN FAITH”. So instead of waiting on something, wait on God to help you get it or change it.
