I was using Spotify with a VPN before it was officially launched in Nigeria. We all did. And then, when it was finally available to Nigerians in Nigeria, I could no longer play some songs… because they are not available to Nigerians. See the screenshot below:
What’s worse? There is a Spotify option to show unavailable songs in playlists. If you don’t enable that option, you will not know that some of your favourite songs are missing.
So, If you haven’t changed your country to Nigeria on Spotify yet, LEAVE IT! Continue using USA or wherever else.
