Hi Magnus, what plugin do you use to collect emails while doing a giveaway? I want to give out a free ebook but I would also like to collect the visitor’s name and email in the process.
There are a few plugins you could use to achieve this on WordPress.
Email Before Download presents your users with a form where they submit information, like their name and email address, prior to receiving a download. This plugin integrates with the popular Contact Form 7 and WordPress Download Monitor plugins, allowing you to create any form you like and manage/monitor your file downloads.
A visitor must enter his email address before the download link will be sent via email. The secure download link can be used once by the relevant user and the download process is protected against unauthorized use. You can choose whether to send an email notification and to which email address it should be sent.
